Sowing Seeds

I came across this the other day and it really touched me

Plant goodness, harvest the fruit of loyalty, plow the new ground of knowledge. Hosea 10:12

Want to see a miracle? Plant a word of love heartfelt in a person's life. Nurture it with a smile and a prayer, and watch what happens!
An employee gets a compliment. A wife receives a bouquet of flowers. A cake is baked and carried next door. A widow is hugged. A gas-station attendant is honored. A preacher is praised.
Sowing seeds of peace is like sowing beans. You don't know why it works; you just know it does. Seeds are planted, and topsois of hurt are shoved away.
Don't forget the principle.

Pondering Thoughts

There seems to be a lot to process at the present time....
My assistant at work is pregnant not due till end of March and ended up in the hospital yesterday for at least 24 hours and not sure the extent of possible bed rest and not able to come back to work! I plan to go see her in the hospital this evening.

This morning my sister called and said they took my brother Jonathan to the hospital - lately he has been having some spells and not sure what is going on. They checked him out and things seem to be ok so he came home again.

My cousins wife has been battling cancer for some time and passed away last evening so I expect the funeral will be this weekend and Lord willing planning to go to that if it works out. If it is not on the weekend I may not be able to go.

Here are some verses that I had in my devotions this morning that I am leaning on:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you , says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

As the heavens are higher than the earh, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause - who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number.

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which you have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
